DDOT – Maryland Ave., NE Rehabilitation

Cube Root led all construction management and inspection services for the rehabilitation of Maryland Avenue from 2nd Street, NE to 14th Street, NE. The project improved vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle safety and increased multi-modal neighborhood mobility. This is a high-visibility project along a busy urban corridor and serves as a model project in support of Mayor Bowser’s Vision Zero initiative. This roadway diet/streetscape project includes new sidewalk, underground electrical, traffic and communication utility lines, drainage structures, storm sewer lines, and new wearing surface. Winner of the 2022 CMAA Project of the Year
